華藝劇社簡介

　　華藝劇社屬非營利團體，活躍在灣區舞臺已有近二十年的歷史。正式成立于1992年，華藝劇社曾在灣區成功地上演過《中國人》，《單程機票》,《少帥傳奇》，《七星上將》及《陰錯陽差》等多部大型話劇，受到廣大華裔藝術愛好者的歡迎。

 　　華藝劇社的宗旨，是弘揚中華文化，促進文化交流,為灣區華人提倡高尚娛樂，豐富華人及各族裔的文化生活；以高水準的戲劇表演藝術，給當地的戲劇愛好者提供一個展現藝術才華與顯示人生風采的機會，帶動并提高灣區表演藝術的水準及參與的風氣；以藝術促進不同族裔的美國人對中美之間文化的了解，鼓勵在美的華人積極學習，了解，吸收美國文化的優點。

MISSION OF HUA YI PERFORMING GROUP

    Hua Yi Performing Group is a non-profit and self-supporting organization whose mission is to promote modern American Chinese Culture through Theater Arts.  Our objective is to inspire American Born Chinese with a strong sense of ethnic identify and encourage new American citizens to transcend traditions to overcome cultural barriers. Intrigue Bay Area residents by telling the best stories of both worlds!

    Hua Yi’s root can be traced far back to 20 years ago. Formally established in 1992 by a group of Chinese immigrants, Hua Yi today consists of entrepreneurs, computer engineers, storeowners, lawyers, and young students, all donating their time and assets to carry on Hua Yi’s mission.
